For participation in the 5th International Ankara Guitar Festival and Competition, 3–6 December 2026. Please complete all required fields accurately. Application deadline: 20 November 2026.

Before you apply

Good to know

  • All participants — including luthiers — must complete the application form.
  • Please apply only once — the form accepts one application per identity / passport number, or per e-mail address and phone number. To change your application, write to us.
  • Active participants work one-to-one with three instructors (30 minutes per lesson). List five preferred instructors in order of preference; instructors are assigned according to the order of applications and the availability of the chosen instructors. Active places are limited.
  • Passive participants can attend all classes and events as listeners.
  • Parent discount: one parent or guardian accompanying an applicant under 18 can register as a passive participant for 50% of the fee (€30). Tick the option in the form, write their name and upload the signed parental consent form.
  • Applicants under 18 need a parental consent form signed by a parent or guardian — download the template (PDF).
  • Competitors must document their date of birth.
  • After you submit the form, a confirmation is sent to your e-mail address.
  • The detailed schedule, including individual performance times and venue information, will be announced after the application deadline.
  • Partner hotels with discounted rates: Grand Nora Hotel (reservations via WhatsApp: +90 533 579 32 91) and Days Hotel by Wyndham Ankara Çankaya — see Venue & transportation.
  • A paid shuttle service between the partner hotels and the festival venue is planned — you can register your interest in the application form.

    Participation *Choose one or more. Active and passive participation include the evening concerts and all festival events; active participants also take one-to-one lessons with three instructors. Competitors who are not active participants take part as passive participants. The stand fee covers one stand for the whole festival, 3–6 December (all day).
    Preferred instructors *Choose five instructors in order of preference — each instructor once. Instructors are assigned according to the order of applications and the availability of the chosen instructors.

    All competitors must also pay the passive participation fee unless they are active participants. Applications are complete once the fee has been received.

    04 Shuttle service

    A paid shuttle service between the partner hotels (Grand Nora and Days Hotel by Wyndham) and the festival venue is planned. The price per person will depend on demand and will be announced later.
