Founded in 2022, the International Ankara Guitar Festival brings together distinguished artists, educators, young musicians and guitar enthusiasts from Türkiye and around the world — four days of concerts, masterclasses, competition and exchange.

About the festival

More than
a festival

A space for meeting, learning, performing and discovering. Alongside its concert programme, the festival offers masterclasses led by internationally recognised artists, an international competition for young musicians, and a guitar fair bringing together luthiers, brands and music professionals.

Concerts & recitals

Evening concerts on every day of the festival, featuring soloists and ensembles from Türkiye and abroad.

Masterclasses & workshops

Active participants work individually with three instructors; passive participants can observe the classes and join the workshops.

International competition

Five categories, an international jury, prizes from our partners — and a concert invitation for the top performer in Category E.

Guitar fair & luthiers

Instrument makers, brands and music professionals present their work. Visitors can try instruments and meet the luthiers.
